The color blue does not think kindly of me.

I just uploaded this to my gallery (on deviant art).

As you can see it’s just a black and white ink. I’d love to color it but my monitor has a very peculiar problem.  When there is any amount of a certain shade of blue. The screen bugs out then if it isn’t removed the display goes dead. I have no idea how to fix it let alone what’s causing it.  Regardless though to correct it I’ve lowered the saturation the shade blue just doesn’t come up.

As a consequence I don’t have much access to color.  So I haven’t been able to update as much as I’d like. Though as the problem isn’t going anywhere I’ve decided to roll with it and upload my inked stuff.

Tumblr

I'm going to attempt to use tumblr. At the time of this post both my pages are kind of bleak as I've barely started working on them. But i've been forgetting to post them for a few days now so I wanted to do it while I remembered.

I still intend to use Blogger but this addition wot my online presence is meant more for coverage then a change in venue.

Tea Party Event 2013

This last week has been kinda crazy. I was contacted by Dress For Success Halifax on Thursday with an urgent request to complete the program for this year’s tea party event by the end of the day. I got the last of the information the fallowing Wednesday.

With 20% more text I’d say I did superb job making it all work. I’ll have it up on my DA once I have the time to put it together.  I just finished that project then immediately became sick.

So maybe once I’m not super busy and/or sick I’ll throw that on DA.  8D

Resume

In the last four months I’ve remade my resume  about four times. Every time I did though it became too bulky. When I removed information it didn’t have the same impact. Then I had the idea to use Google sites.

A traditional resume wouldn’t benefit from the format. But when I use my resume I’ve already personally introduced myself and the resume is acting as a supportive piece.  To which this new version should function perfectly.

LinkedIn

I’ve made a linkedin profile. I’m a bit late to the party but I have nothing to lose by doing so.

Deviantart

I'm making a renewed effort to use Deviantart.

For over a year now I've used it only as an online portfolio. But with so many of my friends using it for it's intended purpose. I'm really losing out by using it in such a limiting way. I'll be updating daily for the next while till all my new works are uploaded.
